About Us
Reimpower, established in December 2018, provides a wide range of consulting services in Somalia and Somaliland. Our services include studies and evaluations, monitoring and supervision, third-party monitoring, baseline surveys, impact evaluations, mid-line and end-line project assessments, special studies, research, capacity building, organizational capacity assessments, and translation/proofreading. We specialize in advising stakeholders on designing and implementing evidence-based, contextually appropriate programs for vulnerable populations. Our collaborative, iterative research approach integrates design assessments and desk studies, generating robust evidence syntheses essential for effective, purpose-driven interventions. With over hundred humanitarian and development Organizations delivering humanitarian and development Programming in Somalia, a need to provide real time consultancy support ranging from quality evidence generation to policy and strategy development is becoming eminent to help institutions deliver their mandate and adapt to prevailing conditions in the context. Reimpower is here in pulling together experts to help fill this priority for our clients to achieve impactful quality and impactful services for Somali people.

Reimpower Leads Stakeholder Consultation on National Family-Based Care Guidelines
Hargeisa, Somaliland – 24, December 2024: Reimpower, in collaboration with SOS Children's Village and MESAF, held a stakeholder consultation to develop National Family-Based Care Guidelines. The meeting gathered input from key stakeholders to ensure the guidelines address the needs of children in alternative care.
Reimpower Conducts Capacity-Building Training on Childcare and Youth Development Curriculum
Hargeisa, Somaliland – September 2024: Reimpower Consultancy facilitated a four-day training on a Childcare and Youth Development Curriculum, developed for national universities. In collaboration with the University of Hargeisa and SOS Children’s Village, and funded by DANIDA, the training aimed to enhance social work expertise and align university programs with sector needs, while promoting knowledge-sharing across social workers, MESAF, and youth activists. Reimpower’s dedication drives sustainable change in the region.
Reimpower Conducts Data Collection Training for Oxfam’s Conflict and Power Analysis
Hargeisa, Somaliland – July 2024: Reimpower Consultancy recently completed a data collection training for field researchers as part of the Oxfam-SOMREP EU-funded Breach Project. The training aimed to prepare the team for an in-depth assessment of conflict and power dynamics in Burao’s IDP communities. By equipping researchers with essential skills in data accuracy and ethics, Reimpower ensures the collection of high-quality insights to inform Oxfam’s critical interventions in the region.
